FanFest 2024 @ Oconee Civic Center In-Person
The third annual FanFest on Saturday, August 17th 10am-6pm. This free event has something for all ages by bringing together live music, performers, a cosplay contest, gaming, vendors, and more!
Fanfest includes workshops, panel discussions, book signings, live music, performers, demos and other activities.
Featured Guests, Vendors and Performers include:
* Canopy will be presenting an aerial dance performance
* JOKERJOKERtv will be covering the event along with several special guests
* The League of Step will be presenting a Step Dance Routine
* Rebecca Sunshine, who makes fun and engaging music for kids will perform
* Cosplay contest with prizes ranging from gift certificates to Momocon passes
* Vendors offering a wide variety of merchandise from records to pop culture paraphernalia
* Panel discussion on the "Haunting Of Eagle Tavern" with filmmakers, host, ghosthunters and others involved with the project.
* Athens School of Arms will be giving historical arms demos
* Gaming area with D&D, video games, board games, game creators Mystic Punks, and much more!
* Tonalli Danza Folklórica Mexicana will be presenting Mexican folkloric dances to promote Latino culture and teach children and young people about Mexican traditions
* Stand-up Comedy from Lanny Farmer and Friends.
